Seeking Forest Restoration Technicians
About: We plant 1 native tree for every 1 fruit tree. We're clearing land for a major outplanting of native trees and are looking for folks to start immediately.
Description: Job duties include hand pulling weeds, using brush cutters, loppers and sawzalls to cut guava and guinea grass as well as raking, carrying and organizing material into green waste piles, woody material piles and rocks piles.
Requirements: Must be physically fit enough to perform duties on a mountainside efficiently and safely per 4 hour shift.
When & Where: 10am-2pm on Saturdays and/or Sundays until the project is complete. Hours and days can be flexible for candidates that demonstrate ability to accomplish tasks independently. Location: Honokaa area
Pay: $35 / hour
